Wendy Rogers
My lovely daughter, Amy was only 14
when I painted this portrait.  We had taken a trip down
to the beach at Montara.  It was a
lovely spring day, and just enough warm sunshine to
make us smile.  We took the dog, a picnic, and an old,
ratty, bedspread, and made it a day
to remember!

I liked the strong shadow patterns on her face and hand,
and the graphic quality her glasses gave.

Look at Amy now!  She is a
designer for a construction
firm based in Walnut Creek,
is single, and GORGEOUS!
 I am very proud ;)
