Did you know....
Goats like to 'browse' instead of 'graze'~that means that they like to
eat leaves, instead of just grass. Goat berries are the little round
droppings of goats. Grandpa Wetzel calls them "smart pills".
Horses like to graze AND chew on fences! They make great friends.
PIGS like to eat EVERYTHING. (They eat like pigs!) Did you know
that pigs are SMART and can be potty trained? The snout of a pig is
strong and tough, and they use it like a trowel. Pigs have a very good
sense of smell. Does that mean they smell good?
Question: There is something that you have to do for goats, horses,
pigs and dogs! (hint~ it has to do with their feet)
Did you guess? Trim their hooves ( and toenails! ;)
Fact: Plymouth Barred Rock hens lay BROWN eggs. Bantam hens make
excellent mothers!
